At Sunnies, we not only want to provide our customers with the best sunglasses that are fun and protective, but we also want to make sure we are giving back.  We would like to introduce you to one of our favorite non-profit organizations, Canine Companions.

As the leader of the service dog industry, Canine Companions enhances independence for children, adults and veterans with disabilities through expertly trained service dogs. With their cutting-edge research and training programs, they are working toward an industry-wide goal of providing service dogs to all eligible applicants and reducing wait times for individuals who would benefit from a service dog.

This organization is near and dear to the Sunnies Team. Our co-founder, Kim, has a release dog, named Katara from Canine Companions, and is a regional board member.  Katara is an amazing dog - sweet, loves kids, other dogs, pretty much anyone, and she has fit perfectly into Kim’s family.  She loves to be included and is always riding in the car during carpool and errands.

To help support their mission, Sunnies will be donating a portion of all online sales back to Canine Companions!
