For those who want to escape the Houston heat:
- Main Street Theater:
Wish to enjoy the AC and escape the heat... then check out the two plays Main Street Theater will be showcasing. Miss Nelson Is Missing based on the books by Harry Allard and Don't Let The Pigeon Drive The Bus, The Musical! Based on the books by Mo Willems. Main Street Theater will be sure to create a memorable experience for your theater lover.
- Skysports Trampoline Park:
Jump into your spring break at Skysports Trampoline Park. Not only do they have a large selection of trampoline's to choose from but, your kids can also dive into the foam pit, play a game of dodgeball with their friends, try the two story obstacle course, or test their skills at the batting cages. Long story short there is fun for everyone!
- Ninja Adventure Park:
Do your kids love watching American Ninja Warrior? Let them live out their dreams by taking them to the Ninja Adventure Park. Here they can test their time on the obstacle course, climb to the top of the interactive rock wall, and even dive into the virtual reality room. Even us parent's will be wanting to join in on the fun!
For the Nature seeker:
- Discovery Green:
If you're looking to enjoy the outdoors this spring break then head downtown to Discovery Green. This 12-acre oasis is hidden in the middle of downtown Houston and is sure to impress all ages. You can kayak on Kinder Lake, check out the John P. McGovern playground, hit the skating rink or putting green, and even stay cool at the Gateway Fountain. And be sure to include your four legged family members as well. They have dog runs that are open daily!
- Miller Outdoor Theater:
Want a FREE activity to take your kids to over spring break? Be sure to head out to Miller Outdoor Theater in Hermann Park. Enjoy classical music, jazz, world music and dance, ballet, Shakespeare, musical theatre, classic films, and much, much more. You can relax in the covered seating area while having a picnic on the hillside. All performances at Miller are family-friendly and always free!
- Houston Zoo:
Explore your kids wild side at the Houston Zoo. Experience animal encounters where you can get up close and personal with a selection of the zoo animals, check out the multiple animal exhibits, and be sure to see all of the 6,000 animals and 200 species that the zoo has to offer. You may not get to them all but, challenge accepted! Don't forget to check out our new Wildlife collection, which is a perfect accessory for any zoo trip
- Houston Rodeo
Let's not forget about the most popular outing going on during spring break... the one and only Houston Rodeo! They have every type of family friendly activity that you can think of. Such as, traditional trail rides, livestock shows and auctions, concerts, carnivals, and much more. There is also plenty of BBQ and fried twinkies to go around. Make that anything and everything fried! Make sure to buy your tickets in advance!

- Museum of Natural Science:

- Color Factory Houston:
Experience the joy of color at this interactive art museum located at Upper Kirby. From the lobby to the gift shop and each colorful moment in between, Color Factory invites every guest to embrace play and discovery art.
For the thrill seeker:
- Schlitterbahn Water Park:
Wanting to soak up the sun? With 31 rivers, rides, and slides there is something for everyone in the family. Not interested in taking a spin down the world class water slides... not to worry! Enjoy floating down one of the lazy rivers or sit back and relax in a cabana.
- Kemah Boardwalk:
Being one of the oldest amusement parks in the city. The 23-year-old park offers some of the most amazing rides in the city and is a fun place for a family outing.

- Marriott Marquis:
If you've ever wanted to float in a Texas-shaped lazy river, you can do just that at the Marriott Marquis.
